This shot was taken outside the Café Amore on Nelson Street, and looking in a western direction.
Those two people sitting down, were simply just visiting the café for coffee or whatever they want, and they were simply watching the protesters marching past.
At that point, they weren’t very far from the finishing point of the march, just one street length to go.
The protest was in respond to the Scottish Supreme Court ruling that the definition of “sex” is “sex at birth” and thus many transgenders all over the UK, along with the support from the LGBT community, carried out a protest. This was one of the many, and when I heard about it, I decided to pop down to Bristol to do some photojournalism shots.
