In the world of the mundane, I’ve always longed for adventure; for something more than what thus far my life has offered me. It is only you who sees past the mask I wear; only you who sees the truth in my eyes that I have always pretended didn’t exist.
You offer to show me the world…and I want nothing more than that despite any hesitation that escaped my lips until now.
Show me. Show me how life is meant to be lived: out there on the horizon at your side. I shall place my hand in yours and say “Yes.” For what other life is there for me now but this journey that lies ahead together?
