Enjoying Pride

Pride has always been my favorite time of the year…But I haven’t really enjoyed Pride for a while though….I kind of stopped enjoying it back in 2016 when I was at a festival right after the Pulse shooting….I was only 16 and getting ready for the parade…just enjoying life as an openly gay teenager, but we had to be escorted out due to people threatening to shoot the children’s float that I was supposed to be on…It still blows my mind 5 years later….But I will say that I have actually started spending A LOT of my time at the Pride At Home sim…I’ve just been enjoying pride, having a good time, and meeting new people! We are only 10 days in and I have had more fun now than I have these past 5 years….I am so grateful for everyone involved in making this sim a happy, loving, and safe place.♥
