Very bad news for Only Fans star Jacob Wohl, who falsely accused Pete Buttigieg of sexual assault

Karma is definitely calling for right-wing-troll-turned-Only-Fans-star Jacob Wohl.

You may or may not recall that in April 2019, Wohl wrote a Medium article under the pen name “Hunter Kelly” in which he accused Pete Buttigieg of sexual assault. The article was quickly removed after being proven totally 100% false.

Related: Sexual assault allegations against Pete Buttigieg revealed to be amateurish political hit-job

But that was just the beginning. In the following months, Wohl also attempted to smear Robert Mueller, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and, most recently, Anthony Fauci with fake sex scandals.

On top of that, he fabricated his own death threats and was permanently banned from Twitter for creating too many fake accounts, which he used to peddle right-wing conspiracy theories.

But prior to all that, the 22-year-old worked as an investment manager and was moderately successful, especially for someone his age. Until 2017, that is, when it all came crashing down.

Wohl was charged with 14 counts of securities fraud after being accused of scamming several clients. He was ordered by the commission to pay $32,919 in restitution, plus $5,000 in penalties. That number has since increased to $43,000 because of interest.

So far, Wohl hasn’t paid a dime of it. And now, the Attorney General’s Office of Arizona says it is ramping up its efforts to collect from him.

“The Commission, through the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, is actively pursuing collection efforts against Mr. Wohl,” a spokesperson tells Salon. “Mr. Wohl has not paid anything since the matter was sent to the Attorney General’s Office for collections.”

The Commission says it plans to take whatever action in necessary against Wohl “if he violates any part of the order or if he commits additional actions that violate the Arizona Securities Act or the Investment Management Act.”

Wohl has not issued any comment on the matter; however, he did launch an Only Fans page last month, presumably to cover some of his legal expenses. Unfortunately, people have not been terribly impressed with its content.

Human Rights Campaign Announces Support for the Heroes Act

Human Rights Campaign Announces Support for the Heroes Act

Today, the Human Rights Campaign announced its support of the Heroes Act, legislation in the U.S. Congress investing $3 trillion towards essential needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, including $3.6 billion for voting assistance and a sexual orientation and gender identity inclusive non-discrimination provision.

“Our nation is in crisis, and Speaker Pelosi has stepped up to lead,” said HRC President Alphonso David. “This package ensures that our nation has the tools and resources it needs to respond to the epidemic, boost the economy, protect LGBTQ people from discrimination and ensure everyone has the opportunity to safely exercise their constitutional right to vote. Voters should not have to choose between their health and their liberty. Provisions in the Heroes Act not only expand safe voting options but also aim to reduce voter suppression, which disproportionately impacts voters of color and transgender voters. The Human Rights Campaign supports the Heroes Act and is activating our 3.3 million members to urge passage.”

“The health and safety of voters is a top priority during the current public health emergency, and we must make sure the pandemic does not impede full, unfettered access to the ballot box,” said Rep. Marcia Fudge, Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections in the House Administration Committee. “Communities with a history of voter suppression, specifically communities of color, must have safe, accessible options and sufficient time to cast their ballots without unnecessary confusion and potential voter disenchantment. Congress has the responsibility to ensure every American can exercise their right to vote. I am proud to support the Heroes Act, and any legislation preventing and removing barriers to the ballot box; barriers that have plagued our democracy for far too long.”

The Heroes Act, in addition to providing funding for COVID response, will give critical resources to state and local governments to ensure voters can safely participate in future elections. These resources will expand early voting, absentee voting and voter registration options as well as make in-person polling places more accessible. These critical efforts are essential to ensuring the safety of every voter during the COVID-19 pandemic. The legislation:

  • Requires federal election contingency plans in response to natural disasters and emergencies.
  • Requires at least 15 consecutive days of early voting for federal elections.
  • Requires the early voting period to be no less than 10 hours each day, to have uniform hours for each day, and to allow for voting prior to 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
  • Requires polling places with early voting periods to be located within walking distance of a stop on a public transportation route and to be available in rural areas of states.
  • Ensures that every voter can access no excuse absentee vote by mail.
  • Permits the use of a sworn written statement to meet identification requirements.
  • Amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to improve voter registration.
  • Requires states to establish technological security measures to protect information provided through online voter registration services.
  • Ensures that online voter registrations services are available to individuals with disabilities and also available through the use of an automated telephone based system.
  • Permits an Indian Tribe to designate buildings as ballot pickup and collection locations and to designate one building per precinct located within Indian lands at no cost to the Indian Tribe.

The bill contains an important non-discrimination provision that would ensure that funds in the bill do not allow for discrimination including against LGBTQ people. In addition, it contains the bipartisan Jabara-Heyer NO HATE Act to improve hate crimes data collection.

Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef share passionate kiss in new music video

Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef share passionate kiss in new music video

Ricky Martin and husband Jwan Yosef share tender kisses in a new music video. The visual is not actually for a new track from the ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ singer, but by the Puerto Rican rapper and filmmaker, Residente.

The song is called ‘Antes Que el Mundo Se Acabe’ (translation: ‘Before The World Ends’), and the video begins with a statement asking, ‘Instead of going back to normal, why don’t we start again.’

It then features dozens of couples kissing from all over the world. We’re guessing most of those involved shot the footage themselves while in lockdown. Besides Martin, 48, and Yosef, 36, there are several other same-sex couples, including two women in Russia.

@residente ¡Aquí #PuertoRico y #Syria representando! Hermano, gracias por hacernos parte del mensaje. ¡Que hermosa letra! #antesqueelmundoseacabe#lgbtq

A post shared by Ricky (@ricky_martin) on

Accompany his Instagram photo, Martin said, “Here #PuertoRico and #Syria representing! Brother, thank you for making us part of the message.”

Yosef also shared the clip to his Instagram, saying, “One out of MANY kisses, Thank you @residente for making us part of your stellar vision.”

Like Residente (real name Rene Perez), Ricky Martin is also from Puerto Rico. Husband Yosef, a visual artist, is originally from Syria.

Residente was formerly with the alternative rap group Calle 13. He has enjoyed continued success since going solo in 2017, winning four Grammy Awards and 25 Latin Grammy Awards across his career.

You can watch the beautiful, seven-minute plus video below. Martin and Yosef are at the 2.56 mark.

Earlier in the week, Martin posed a shirtless photo of himself taken by Yosef, and a lengthy statement reflecting on being in lockdown for the past two months. He said he’d been experiencing a “rollercoaster” of emotions but wanted to remind people that, “You’re not alone. We’re all in this together.”

A post shared by Ricky (@ricky_martin) on

He went on to say that the first two weeks of quarantine had been “overwhelming” for him as he realized all his plans for 2020 would have to be put on hold. On reflection, he recognized his own arrogance in some of his initial response of anger and grief. He also felt the mental strain of having to try and stay “unconcerned and collected” in front of his family (he and Yosef have four kids).

Related: Bad Bunny once again proves that he’s the ultimate LGBTQ ally

He now says he believes we can’t go back to how things used to be, pointing to the way that planet has shown signs of beginning to ecologically heal itself with much of the world in lockdown.

“I am ready for the new normal. Yes, the uncertainty of not knowing what it will be like could be challenging, but I’m sure it will be better than the route will were taking. That one was damaged. Our actions (are) were catastrophic but we (aren’t) weren’t listening.

“And then, one day, the world/LIFE/God/a power greater than ourselves (whatever you believe it be or call it) forced us to move out of the way and locked us at home because the way we were acting was against the natural flow of things. The message was clear, WE ALL NEED TO STOP AND FOCUS ON US.”

He says realizing this had helped with his anxiety, which in turn has led to him remotely working with producers on making more music. He hopes to share this with fans soon.

Desi Lydic Hilariously ‘Foxsplains’ Obamagate on ‘The Daily Show’: WATCH

After binge-watching Fox News for 48 hours, The Daily Show correspondent Desi Lydic attempted to “Foxsplain” the fake Obamagate scandal manufactured by the network in cahoots with President Donald Trump on Thursday.

“It starts with President Barack Hussein Baskin Robbins Obama. He assembles the ultraliberal vegan deep state — Comey, Clapper, AOC, Rodman, Pippen, you better believe the Geek Squad was involved,” Lydic says.

“Anyway, they all start spying on Donald Trump’s cell phone. Who’s the cell phone carrier? T-Mobile. What does the T stand for? Thunberg, as in Greta. Take your little sailboat back to Greenland, Greta. You’re not doing voter fraud in this country ever again,” Lydic adds.

“You want a real quid pro quo? Check out Obama’s 2014 Christmas card,” Lydic says later. “It’s past time for Donald Trump to drain the swamp, folks, and everyone is in on it: the FBI, the CIA, the XFL, the PT Cruiser, the will.i.am. Put it all together and what do you get? I’d spell it out for you, but Fauci’s probably listening.”

After playing a clip of Trump responding to a question about the fake scandal, Lydic concludes that “Obamagate is Obamagate.”

“Air Force One is a hologram,” she adds.

Watch it below.
