Ivanka Trump tweeted about child pornography and it got really awkward really fast

Welp, she did it again! Ivanka Trump completely embarrassed herself on Twitter for the 24,862nd time this month.

On Sunday, the first daughter tweeted that the Justice Department had arrested over 300 people in “the largest child porn takedown ever.”

“Our message for those who produce, distribute and receive child pornography is clear: You may try to hide behind technology, but we will find you and we will arrest and prosecute you,” Ivanka wrote.

Obviously, ending child sex abuse and the circulation of kiddie porn is a good thing. So hats off to the Justice Department for that!

But considering the fact that Ivanka’s father has maintained close relationships with several convicted sex offenders even after being elected President, and considering his creepy behavior around young women, particularly teen pageant queens, and considering Ivanka’s own radio silence about pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest for the sex trafficking of minors back in July, her tweet applauding “the largest child porn takedown ever” is, as usual, pretty damn tone deaf. Not to mention, it’s not like she had anything to do with it.

All that said, it didn’t take long for things to get, well, kinda awkward.

Some people mentioned how convicted child sex offender George Nader visited Ivanka’s dad at the White House over a dozen times…

Does that include your father’s friend George Nader?

Others mentioned Ivanka’s dad’s long friendship with child rapist Jeffrey Epstein…

He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” trump talking about his friend Jeffrey Epstein.

Trial begins in discrimination case for St. Louis cop told to “tone down his gayness”

Trial begins in discrimination case for St. Louis cop told to “tone down his gayness”

Keith Wildhaber

A trial centered around St. Louis cop Keith Wildhaber, a 22-year veteran of the force who claims he was discriminated against for being gay, kicked off on Tuesday. Wildhaber’s superiors allegedly told him to “tone down his gayness” if he ever wanted a promotion.

Wildhaber filed the discrimination suit in 2017, he says, after St. Louis County Police Board of Commissioners member John Saracino told him he would never receive a promotion to lieutenant unless he hid his sexual orientation. He also claims that Saracino transferred him to a precient that tripled his commute, and that he was placed on midnight shifts.

According to lawyers for Wildhaber, the transfer, shifting of hours and remarks came as a coordinated effort between Saracino and Police Chief Jon Belmar as an act of homophobia against their client. “The command staff has a problem with your sexuality. If you ever want to see a white shirt [get promoted], you should tone down your gayness,” Saracino allegedly said to Wildhaber.

“The police department under Chief Belmar is big on high-testosterone, type A masculine personalities, and my method of policing doesn’t conform with that,” Wildhaber said. “This chief is very heavy on promoting the SWAT, masculine type of guys, and I wasn’t doing that.”

The trial remains ongoing.

Marie Osmond: ‘I Actually Thought I Was Gay’ as a Result of Being Sexually Abused — WATCH

Marie Osmond told her co-hosts on The Talk this week that as a child she thought for a while that she might be gay because she had been sexually abused. The remarks came during a discussion of Miley Cyrus’s recent remarks about being gay and her relationships with men.

“When I was about 8 or 9 I actually thought I was gay. And the reason is because I had been sexually abused to the point that men made me sick. I didn’t trust them. I didn’t like them. … I had so many body issues. I was looking at women, and I thought, why am I looking at women? I must be gay. And then, I realized because I’m a thinker, why did God give me these great brothers and why did he give me this amazing father? And truly they changed my opinion of men, which made me feel that it was something I was going through.”
