NBC today released the official trailer for the revival of the classic hit comedy Will & Grace, returning this fall for a 12-episode ninth season after ending in 2006. This Emmy award-winning sitcom about two gay men and two straight women living in New York was the first prime time television show to have an openly gay lead, not to mention two of them. The characters of Will (Eric McCormack) and Jack (Sean Hayes) showed two different perspectives of being gay and young in New York, and both of them were given several romantic interests over the show’s eight season run. Check out the cast’s musical return below!

Will & Grace received seven GLAAD Media Awards during its eight seasons and 18 Emmy awards. It is often acknowledged as opening the doors for all the LGBTQ-inclusive series that followed, and was even cited by former Vice President Joe Biden as being hugely impactful on his coming to support marriage equality. In an interview with Meet the Press, he said the show “probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody has done so far”. Series star Debra Messing was honored with GLAAD’s Excellence in Media Award at the 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York earlier this month.

Harry Styles: ‘I’ve Never Felt the Need’ to Label My Sexuality
Harry Styles was tight-lipped when asked about his sexuality in an interview with UK tabloid The Sun published on Sunday.
“It’s weird for me — everyone should just be who they want to be,” said Styles. “It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that.”
When asked if he gives his sexual orientation a label, Styles said: “No, I’ve never felt the need to really. No.”
But he praised artists like Miley Cyrus, who do discuss it: “Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive. People doing stuff like that is great.”
Styles recently told a French talk show that he sees LGBT equality as something that’s “fundamental” and not political.
In 2014, Styles told One Direction bandmate Niall Horan “Hey, don’t knock it ’til you try it,” when Horan was asked about dating men.

High School Teacher Resigns After Telling Student Newspaper: Gays ‘Deserve To Die’ – WATCH
A special education teacher at San Luis Obispo High School in California resigned Thursday after writing a letter to the student newspaper that said that people engaging in homosexuality “deserve to die,” the Tribune reports. The letter was a response to a May issue of the student newspaper that focused on LGBT issues and showed a same-sex couple kissing on the front cover.
The teacher, Michael Stack, resigned Thursday afternoon in an email.
“The community apparently wants me out, so I hereby grant them their desires,” the email read, “I exercised my First Amendment rights and submitted my opinion to a public forum. In it I quoted, verbatim, Romans 1: 16-32. Now people are exercising THEIR First Amendment rights by responding to that letter. This is how America is designed to function.”
Prior to Stack’s resignation, San Luis Coastal Unified School District Superintendent Eric Prater and Principal Leslie O’Connor said in a joint statement that Stack would not be disciplined over the letter because it fell within his First Amendment rights.
“As a district, we understand that students do not shed their First Amendment rights at school, and we respect the rights of our students to speak on controversial topics,” the statement said. “We applaud the high school’s commitment to open dialogue and a free exchange of ideas in its student newspaper. […] In a similar manner, we acknowledge the right of our staff to voice their opinions.”
The statement added that it was decided in February that Stack, a probationary teacher, would not be kept on staff for the coming school year, the Tribune reports. However, the article later reports that Assistant Superintendent Kimberly McGrath said that Stack claimed he wanted to retire at the end of the school year.
In response to the letter, a protest was help outside of the high school.
