2016 ELECTION. CNN hires former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. “It’s a salaried position and will make Lewandowski exclusive to CNN, effective immediately. Trump fired Lewandowski on Monday, ending the tenure of the fiery operative who faced a steady string of controversies while guiding Trump’s skeleton campaign operation to a shocking victory in the 2016 Republican presidential primary.” Trump rips CNN for bias.
CNN, which is totally biased in favor of Clinton, should apologize. They knew they were wrong. t.co/KR7OnS8h6s

GUNS. Paul Ryan calls Democratic sit-in a ‘publicity stunt’.
TO BE CONTINUED. House sit-in ends after 25 hours. “House Democrats led by civil rights legend Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) ended their action Thursday afternoon.Speaking to reporters outside the U.S. Capitol, Lewis said House Democrats would continue their efforts on July 5 when the House is back in session. ‘We’re going to continue on July 5, we’re going to continue to push, to pull, to stand up and, if necessary, to sit-down,’ Lewis said to applause.”
STOP HATE. Donald Trump is full of it.
STONEWALL. Roland Emmerich says “Stonewall was a white event, let’s be honest.” “My movie was exactly what they said it wasn’t. It was politically correct. It had black, transgender people in there. We just got killed by one voice on the internet who saw a trailer and said, this is whitewashing Stonewall. Stonewall was a white event, let’s be honest. But nobody wanted to hear that any more.”
MUST-SEE GRAPHIC. Everything lawmakers said (and didn’t say) after the Orlando mass shooting.
PULSE. Latin Night resumes with street party: “The street party will take place about two miles away from the shuttered Pulse, and performers will dance and entertain throughout the night. Poma says the city has gone through a terrible and extraordinary ordeal and everyone must keep moving forward. She says her commitment is to keep Pulse alive and the party is a great way to start just that.”
SIGNORILE. The hate is still real after Orlando: “While it’s important to talk about the outpouring of support, we can’t let it seduce us into believing the hate isn’t still a very real and dangerous threat. That hate empowered the mass shooter to go into the Pulse nightclub. And that act is now empowering more haters to spread their hate. Now is the time to take our grief and sorrow, turn it into anger, and direct that anger into action against the preachers and politicians in Congress and across the country who are exploiting fear and hate, and keeping us from achieving full equality.”
SILENCE. Rihanna, other stars slammed for saying nothing. “Asked about criticism that Rihanna has tweeted about her upcoming tour, but has yet to mention the Orlando shooting on any of her social media platforms, a publicist for the star told TheWrap: ‘I am honestly hoping that you’re NOT trying to take this tragedy and write a story about how Rihanna hasn’t tweeted about it. I’m honestly going to pretend you didn’t write this email.’”
SIA. Exposed.
GYM PROGRESS. Calvin Harris posts shirtless selfies to Snapchat.
GOOD FACE. David Beckham hits the Louis Vuitton show in Paris.
SCREAM QUEENS. Picking up male co-stars. “Following the news that John Stamos will be joining Scream Queens as a “brilliant but secretive” head of surgery for season two, it’s been announced that Taylor Lautner will also be joining the show’s medical personnel as a series regular. Lautner will portray Dr. Cassidy Cascade, a doctor at the hospital where the anthology series’ upcoming season is based — no more college campuses, sorry!”
FOOD TIP OF THE DAY. Colonial fried chicken.
SPOTMINI. The new Boston dynamics quadruped. “SpotMini is a new smaller version of the Spot robot, weighing 55 lbs dripping wet (65 lbs if you include its arm.) SpotMini is all-electric (no hydraulics) and runs for about 90 minutes on a charge, depending on what it is doing. SpotMini is one of the quietest robots we have ever built. It has a variety of sensors, including depth cameras, a solid state gyro (IMU) and proprioception sensors in the limbs. These sensors help with navigation and mobile manipulation. SpotMini performs some tasks autonomously, but often uses a human for high-level guidance.”

Hunky Star Of ‘Younger’ Nico Tortorella Comes Out As Sexually Fluid

Joining the club with Nyle Dimarco, Miley Cyrus and thousands of other label-defying young people, the very adorable star of TV Land’s Younger, Nico Tortorella, has come out as “sexually fluid.”
“I’ve never been in any sort of closet … I was never really in the house,” the 27-year-old actor said during a Pride event with The Infatuation blog in New York City this week. “I think it’s one thing to hide … and it’s one thing to come out of the closet in a public statement.”

“But I’ve always done me and never been shy …” he added, “and have been vocal about it.”
Tortorella is currently dating a woman, but says he hasn’t shied away from his attractions towards men. “It’s just a fluidity,” he told Page Six. “We’re all kind of moving into this one situation.”
He’s also hip to the open relationship trend.

“I think that an open relationship or a polyamorous relationship or an understanding of sorts is acceptable in this day and age,” he told Cosmopolitan in January of this year. “Relationships and people are my hobby of sorts. I love exchanging energy with people and getting to know people and falling in and out of love.”
But, he says, cheating is another story entirely.

“Cheating inherently is a terrible thing,” he expressed to Cosmo. “If you’re going behind the other person’s back and if there’s any type of malice, you’re a bad person, end of story.”
We’ve been saying the same thing for a while now — be honest with the people you love, even if it makes you uncomfortable. If they really love you back, they’re going to be understanding and compassionate!
We give Tortorella two big thumbs up for being man enough to speak so candidly and ditch the stigma.
Paul Ryan Calls The Gun Control Sit-In “A Publicity Stunt”; Twitter Erupts

It all began with a plea: “Retweet if you agree.”
Upon hitting “Send,” House Speaker Paul Ryan sent a Tweet out into the world that generated a backlash in record time, for reasons that should be clear:
Retweet if you agree ? The sit-in by House Democrats is nothing more than a publicity stunt. #StopTheStuntt.co/YGgl2yLHyB

In the included CNN interview, Paul Ryan says that “we will not bring a bill that takes away a person’s constitutionally guaranteed rights without … due process.”

Meanwhile, a stinging DailyKaos piece attempts to school Ryan on what, exactly, a publicity stunt is and isn’t — starting with the above workout photos of Ryan “looking all dudebro”:
“You know what isn’t a ‘publicity stunt’? Fighting for common sense gun control. One hundred thousand. That is the number of people who have been killed by guns in this country since the large scale massacre of children at Sandy Hook.”
