The 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, the first to combine honors for film and TV, air in simulcast live on Sunday night. Carol picked up nine nominations total with The Danish Girl nominated in five categorie. Lily Tomlin is nominated in Best Actress in a Comedy for Grandma. In TV, Jeffrey Tambor (Transparent) is nominated in Best Actor in a Comedy Series, Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder) in Best Actress in a Drama Series, and Marisa Tomei (Empire) and B.D. Wong (Mr. Robot) are nominated in Best Guest Actor/Actress in a Drama Series. Andre Braugher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Mel Rodriguez (Getting On) picked up nominations in Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and out actress Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story: Hotel) is nominated in Best Supporting Actress in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series. LGBT-inclusive series Jane The Virgin, Master of None, and Transparent are up Best Comedy Series, with Empire, Mr. Robot, Penny Dreadful, and UnREAL nominated in Best Drama Series. Ted Allen and Jane Lynch picked up nominations in Best Reality Show Host. 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards: Sunday, 8pm on A&E and Lifetime.

The Prancing Elites Project returns Tuesday night for an all new season. In the premiere, Kentrell struggles to keep the group focused as members begin to take on side projects, a rival team makes a tempting offer, and Adrian acts as a mentor to young dancers. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premieres Thursday night. In the premiere, time traveler Rip Hunter assembles a team of heros and villains to fight the immortal Vandal Savage who is working to destroy humankind in 2166. The team includes bisexual superhero Sara Lance, known as the White Canary. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Thursday, 8pm on The CW.

London Spy makes its U.S. debut on BBC America this week. The five-part original series by novelist Tom Rob Smith tells the story of Danny (Ben Whishaw), who leaves his world of clubbing and youthful excess behind when his investment banker boyfriend Alex (Edward Holcroft) disappears. Danny finds himself drawn into the dangerous world of espionage as he works to uncover the truth about what really happened to Alex. London Spy: Thursday, 10pm on BBC America.
