Gay YouTube Personality 'Comes Out' In Support Of Donald Trump

YouTube personality Kyle Kittleson is shaking up the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) blogosphere by expressing his support for Donald Trump — and “not in an ironic way,” either.

In a five-minute video, the Los Angeles-based Kittleson said he plans to vote for Trump, who he bizarrely praises as a “slightly crazy uncle who’s a little behind the times, but still knows what’s best.” Kittleson, who previously worked as a marine mammal trainer at SeaWorld Orlando and hopes to host a television show focused on animals, may even donate money to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, citing the Republican’s stances on infrastructure, immigration and LGBT equality.

“Long before Hillary Clinton supported gay marriage and gay rights, Donald Trump supported equal rights for everybody,” Kittleson said in the clip. He also cites a 2000 interview in The Advocate, in which Trump emphasizes his support for workplace discrimination protections and “strong domestic-partnership law that guarantees gay people the same legal protections and rights as married people.”

“Trump supported equal rights and equal protections for gays and gay couples,” Kittleson said. “Granted, he didn’t want it to be called ‘marriage,’ but he did advocate for unions with legal, equal rights.”

He dismisses Trump’s divisive remarks about the Latino community and women, saying, “I don’t really think he hates anybody, at least because of their race. And the whole insulting women thing — that’s just a political play.”

Kittleson insists he’s gotten plenty of support from other LGBT people who plan to vote for Trump on social media since posting the clip on Oct. 25.

Seriously, my inbox is filled with lgbtq trump supporters. t.co/dS2dYvrOH4

Yay! Shouldn’t have to be fearful of “coming out”politically! t.co/LWaWSMfE5h

— Kyle Kittleson (@Kyle_Kittleson) October 26, 2015

It’s unclear whether or not Kittleson created the video, which currently has over 11,000 views, as a sincere endorsement of Trump. Still, he may want to re-examine Trump’s more recent remarks on immigration and the LGBT community before he casts his vote.

Open Question: If a murderous organization adopted as their banner, the rainbow flag, then named their group after you, personally, would you…?
.

…know that it has nothing to do with you OR the LGBT movement?

People would associate you and the flag, from now on, with this murderous bunch just as they associate the Rebel flag — originally to honor the fallen — with the K-Lan.

. .

AmberP: Their leader has the same name. And, they like rainbows. Now, your name is all over that. But nobody knows or cares that it was also somebody else’s name. Now what?

Bada Boom: The British called the Revolutionaries treasonous. Were we?

Gus Kenworthy Shuts Down Homophobic Twitter Troll With Olympic Form

Screen Shot 2015-10-28 at 9.37.52 AMSince revealing he’s gay last week, Olympian dreamboat Gus Kenworthy has felt the wave of support that accompanies a high-profile coming out in 2015 — messages poured in congratulating his self-served eviction from the closet.

But while it’s a marvelous thing that there is so much support out there in the world these days, it’s the internet after all, and trolls are to be expected.

Like one Prexton Vice (aka @MmmPrexton), who tried to throw a wrench in Gus’ good news with an age-old (read: tired) question — who’s the woman in the relationship?

He posted his eye-rolling query on Twitter:

But Gus wasn’t having it. He fired back with the perfect response:

Elaborating on his decision to come out last week, the 24-year-old said, “Part of the reason I had such a difficult time as a kid was that I didn’t know anyone in my position and didn’t have someone to look up to, who’s footsteps I could follow in.

“I hope to be that person for a younger generation, to model honesty and transparency and to show people that there’s nothing cooler than being yourself and embracing the things that make you unique.”

He’s off to a great start.

Zac Efron Takes Robert DeNiro on a Road Trip to Spring Break in ‘Dirty Grandpa’ Trailer: WATCH

zac efron

Zac Efron is returning to familiar territory in his new film, Dirty Grandpa.

In the same vein of humor as Neighbors, Dirty Grandpa follows an uptight guy (Efron), about to get married to a seemingly even more uptight woman (Julianne Hough), who then gets tricked into driving his grandfather, a perverted former Army general (Robert De Niro), to Florida for Spring Break–only a day after his grandmother’s funeral.

Also like Neighbors, Dirty Grandpa promises to show off Efron’s body whenever it can.

GOP Candidate Has A4A Profile, But Is Against LGBTQ Protections

GOP Candidate Has A4A Profile, But Is Against LGBTQ Protections

SOC_8791a-500x333Brent Randall, a Republican candidate for Goshen, Indiana’s District 5 City Council seat has confirmed that a profile page featuring his photos and info on gay dating site Adam4Adam is indeed his own.

The page contains a lot of general information — much of which is explicit — and Randall has actively used the site to connect with gay men.

Randall was married for 22 years before divorcing his wife in 2009.

“My life has changed a lot over the last six years since my divorce,” says Randall, who still regularly checks the profile. “I do talk to people. I’ve never met anybody from that profile. I do enjoy meeting new people of all different walks of life. I don’t even know if I consider myself bisexual or not. I just experimented a little since I was single again.”

Nevertheless, the 53-year-old Randall — who’s running against Adam Scharf, a Democrat, for Goshen’s District 5 seat currently held by Everett Thomas — went on record just last week saying that he was against amending the city’s civil rights ordinance to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” saying members of the LGBT community are currently protected under the law and no amendment is needed on the local level.

Despite his A4A profile, he still stands by his position:

“I don’t know if I thought this wouldn’t come up or would (when running for office). But I still believe in my heart of hearts that our gay and lesbian communities are protected currently under the law. If there are cases that need to be brought, let’s bring them. I don’t know why they feel they need special protections when there are other categories that might need protections. My little experimentation over the last six years hasn’t changed my view on that.”

He doesn’t know whether the Adam4Adam profile will wind up hurting his chances at the District 5 seat, but thinks Goshen is an open-minded community.

“In the back of my mind I knew that profile was out there,” Randall said. “I really didn’t think it would come out. It’s a bridge I really didn’t want to cross. The other side of that is I’ve been dating women too. It’s just something I’ve opened myself up for.”

Randall is the radio voice for Goshen High School football and basketball on Elkhart.com. He’s also head Goshen High School boys golf coach. And relationship development manager at Eby Ford Lincoln.

He wears many hats.

I just had my first gay date!

I just had my first gay date!

I came out as bisexual a few months ago, and today I had my first gay date: he’s really nice, sophisticated and intelligent, and it feels awesome!

Unfortunately, he’s an exchange student, and will be leaving after this semester back to his home country, so I don’t think it can develop into something more meaningful, but I’ll be damned if I don’t give it a try!

Just felt like telling somebody – it’s still all too surreal, considering I’ve been closeted for almost eight years before finally coming out.
