Watch Lesbians Guess Whether Porn Stars Are Straight Or Gay
Watch Lesbians Guess Whether Porn Stars Are Straight Or Gay
Is is actually possible to tell the whether a woman performing in a lesbian porn identifies as either lesbian or straight (or somewhere in-between)?
Popular YouTube vlogger Arielle Scarcella tackles this question with a bit of nuance in her latest video “Lesbians Guess: Straight Girls Or Gay Girls In Porn.”
Scarcella brings together her usual roundtable of other lesbian YouTube vloggers to watch various porn videos and judge — based on the actions of the performers — whether the women actually identify as lesbians or not.
The twist? Well, for one, this is literally an impossible task to undertake. Secondly… Scarcella doesn’t even know the answer herself! She explains at the end of the video:
“I don’t think it matters because the truth is if somebody told you as a lesbian that you can’t be gay if you use dildos or you can’t be gay if you don’t like when a girl goes down on you, you’d probably be upset about it! Because we know that how we express our sexuality has nothing to do with our sexual orientation.”
Very tricky, Arielle. Want to see more from Scarcella? Head here.

The twitter hashtag #GrowingUpCatholic turned into #GrowingUpGay
A Catholic hastag may be failing to get its message across this week.
#GrowingUpCatholic is currently trending on Twitter, a hashtag about the tribulations of the young and Catholic.
But it looks like it’s morphed into a gay parody of itself.
The new hastag follows the success of #GrowingUpGay which is still trending from last week:

The Catholic version is basically the same, but about being Catholic:
#growingupcatholic thinking the Eucharist is delicious but trying it for the 1st time and realizing it tastes like cardboard — shanice laquoff (@CammieBragg) July 17, 2015
Except the hastag has been hijacked by a smaller minority: the gay and Catholic:

A Catholic advocacy group recently tried to steal gay people’s thunder with a teary-eyed video, which was universally scorned on social media.

Alabama Gay Marriage Plaintiffs Finally Adopt Child, Celebrate Victory Over Roy Moore

A lesbian Alabama couple put the icing on the cake of their victory over anti-gay Chief Justice Roy Moore this week.
After a four-year fight, Cari Searcy and Kim McKeand, the plaintiffs in Alabama’s same-sex marriage case, finalized Searcy’s adoption of their 9-year-old son, Khaya Searcy. And to add salt to his wounds, the retired judge who signed off on the paperwork was actually appointed by Moore to oversee the case.
Search and McKeand, who married in California in 2008, first realized Search couldn’t be a legal guardian when Khaya had health issues shortly after birth. McKean is Khaya’s biological mother, but Searcy has helped raise him since birth.
In 2011, the couple filed a petition seeking to have Searcy adopt Khaya, but both a probate judge and a state appeals court rejected it.
They sued in federal court, which led to a district judge striking down Alabama’s same-sex marriage ban in February. But then Moore intervened.
AL.com reports:
But hours before the law legalizing same-sex marriage was to begin, Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore ordered the state’s probate judges to withhold same-sex marriage licenses pending the U.S. Supreme Court decision on the matter.
Searcy filed a second lawsuit after Davis indicated he would not give final approval of the adoption until after U.S. Supreme Court case resolved the same-sex marriage issue.
Subsequently, Davis recused himself from the case citing a second lawsuit, and the adoption was put into limbo until Moore could appoint a judge. The U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage nationwide last month, striking down any remaining barriers to Searcy’s adoption.
In a moment of irony, Chief Justice Moore, one of the nation’s most outspoken gay marriage opponents, appointed Reid to oversee the case, clearing the way for Friday’s adoption.
After her adoption of Khaya was finalized: Searcy told WKRG-TV:
“It was just a surreal feeling when he said that it’s in the best interests of this boy to have two legal parents. I know for me, that’s when I just broke down. It was very emotional.”
“I really hope that we’ve changed a lot of minds and hearts. We try to see the best parents that we can be. We love our child. Community support has been overwhelming. We feel loved, we feel support. You can’t really worry about what other people think, and we haven’t. Otherwise we would have stopped a long time ago.”

Androgynous Korean star defeats haters with moving words
Androgynous Korean star defeats haters with moving words
With most Korean idols sticking strictly to conventional gender roles and beauty standards, Amber has always stood out as a unique presence.
But after being insulted in the face by haters, the 22-year-old from the multi-national K-pop girl group f(x) cannot but take to Instagram to vent her dismay. The carefully crafted message that goes with a black image has earned her tens of thousands of likes within hours.
‘I have been a tomboy pretty much all my life and honestly, to put it short, it really sucks sometimes,’ wrote Amber, a Californian native who often raps in her group.
While all of her fellow members usually wear a skirt, heels, and dress in performances, Amber tends to like shorts and sneakers.
‘I personally believe girls and boys are not limited to one specific look. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. We are all different. If we all sang the same melody how can there be harmony? Don’t judge someone just because they’re different. Hopefully we can all grow to respect each other’s differences.’
She has once stated she likes guys who looks really cold and rude. However, she still regularly faces questions like whether she goes on dates with lesbians.
Ever since a child, she has been ‘judged, avoided, bothered, and cursed at’ just for appearing manly.
Luckily for Amber and her fans, malicious words do not appear to hurt the boyish star quite as much now.
‘I really like myself, so why am I trying to hide myself?’ said Amber about the lyrics she penned for the solo song ‘Beautiful’ released earlier this year.
‘From now on, I will do things my way.’
Below is her full Instagram post:
