When I receive unjustified criticism (in my opinion, of course), or when I am blamed by someone whose approval I took for granted, running I always cover a distance a little longer than usual. So I make my body consume the part of disappointment. It is a way to recognize, to the limit of my abilities, my weakness of being human. To recognize it at the lowest level, the physical level. And at that level, the extra miles I’m driven reinforce me, albeit to a minimum extent. If I get angry, it’s good that you take out the anger on myself.
