PBS is continuing their Great Performances series with an airing of the Tony Award-winning Indecent. The play, inspired by a true story, follows a group of performers staging the play The God Of Vengeance in 1923. Indecent tells the story of standing up to censorship, specifically the producers going on trial for including a lesbian romance in the play in the ’20s. Though a period piece, the messages of acceptance and tolerance remain relevant today. Great Performances: Indecent: Sunday at 9pm on PBS.

Season two of critically acclaimed dramedy Search Party is back on Sunday. This week’s Madam Secretary sees the arrival of new character Kat Sandoval, played by out bisexual actress Sara Ramirez. Kat is described as a brilliant political strategist, legendary in D.C. for her talent and for abruptly dropping out of politics to become a writer. Madam Secretary is also one of the few shows to feature a bisexual man as a series regular in the character of Blake, Elizabeth’s assistant. Madam Secretary: Sunday at 10pm on CBS.

The long anticipated Marvel’s Runaways premieres on Hulu this Tuesday. Based on the popular comic book series, Runaways follows a group of teens who figure out their parents are evil criminals conspiring together.
